Start and Finish line

The rule is to start and finish from the same point

For Sailing World record, the traditional start line is between the Créac’h lighthouse on the island of Ushant and the Lizard lighthouse in Cornwall in the English Channel.
On the island of Ushant, a controller from WSSRC, the World Sailing Speed Record Council will sight the boat to start and finish the chronometer of the record when passing North of the Lighthouse.
It's possible to visit the island.
